I’m totally in love with Kiriki Press embroidery kits! These super adorable animal embroidery kits combine classic stitches with contemporary illustration. Michelle Galletta launched KiriKi Press in 2012.
Kiriki Press – Adorable DIY Animal Embroidery Kits To Keep You Busy
Michelle was inspired to create embroidery as a special gift for her niece, Madeleine. Michelle explains, “I instantly fell head-over-heels in love with the medium: the versatile textures, the brilliant colours and the amazing strength of the floss. I embroidered three owls as best I could, loosely based on Russian nesting dolls.”
After working on improving her embroidery skills and developing her designs, Kiriki press was born. Michelle wants to give her customers the ability to create their own super-cute embroidered animal plushies. I’ve always been into embroidery since I was a young girl but all the stuff I’ve seen has been pretty traditional. So I’m very excited to see embroidery designs this modern and lush. I definitely need to get some when I can have a little pause from making my pottery.
